Howdie…

I’m Andrew, a design leader with over 20 years of experience working across brand and digital design. I currently head up the design studio at NewWordOrder, where I work closely with businesses to shape brands that are clear, considered and built for the long term.

Over the years, I’ve learned that great brands are shaped in the details, from typography and colour to the subtle decisions most people never notice, but instinctively feel. I believe good design solves problems, but great design delivers lasting value. That belief guides how I approach my work, ensuring creative decisions are always in service of brand strategy and meaning, not just aesthetics.

Alongside my work, I love running, real estate, hockey, mountain biking and micro investing. Most importantly, I love adventuring with my wife and our three kids.

I’m also about to embark on hosting a podcast sharing the stories of Australian sports heroes with kids. It’s a project that brings together my love of storytelling, sport and design, with the aim of inspiring the next generation.
